Our mission at Eternal Strength Consulting LLC is to provide support, connection, and hope through shared experiences to individuals and families, including children facing various challenges. Our primary focus is offering intentional and authentic support to parents or primary caregivers of children with emotional, physical, behavioral, and mental health issues.

Eternal Strength Consulting LLC, a Certified Parent Peer Specialist, partners with counties in Wisconsin to provide hope, support, advocacy, and education to individuals and families facing mental health and/or substance use challenges. This assistance is delivered in a way that allows families and individuals to feel most at ease, whether in their home or community.

SERVICES

Certified Parent Peer Specialist

A Certified Parent Peer Specialist is a parent who has experienced parenting a child or youth with mental health and/or substance use challenges. They have completed formal training and certification in the Wisconsin Certified Parent Peer Specialist model for mental health and substance use peer support. A Certified Parent Peer Specialist combines knowledge from their personal parenting experience with specialized training to assist parents and caregivers as they navigate their journey.

The purpose of a Parent Peer Specialist is to support parents by offering hope for change and growth, assisting in advocacy and teamwork, navigating services and support systems, encouraging and understanding the youth’s voice, and providing peer support through shared parenting experiences.

Our Parent Peer Specialists are certified by the state of Wisconsin. Their primary role is to provide peer support and promote the well-being of the families they work with. The Certified Parent Peer Specialist also encourages family-driven and youth-guided practices emphasizing strengths as part of the solution and ensuring families and youth participate as partners in all aspects of their care.

Certified Peer Specialist

A Certified Peer Specialist is an individual who has lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and has completed formal training and certification in the Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist model of peer support for mental health and substance use. They leverage their unique lived experiences, recovery journey, comprehensive skills training, and ongoing education to support others with similar experiences. Certified Peer Specialists actively center their work on peer support principles and skills, collaborating effectively within a clearly defined role as part of a recovery team.
